Q. What do you believe is God's stance on artificial insemination? In case you aren't familiar with this process, it's when sperm is purchased from a bank and introduced into a woman to get her pregnant.

A. For the Christian man and wife? No... Not trying to leagalistic but plain spoken. When a man and wife join together to be one flesh, then the blessings of that marriage (children) are to be the result of the union of that one flesh. Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. and then: 1st Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 7:3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 7:4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. Plainly put, the wife, accepting the seed of a strange man is in fact in the act of adultery and the husband allowing it is just as guilty.

If God has joined a couple together and that man, for whatever reason, is unable to cause conception then it is Gods will that this be. So what does a Christian couple do? James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Adopt a child or two or three!!!

Your servant in Christ Jesus,
