Very simply put, it is the denial of the power of God. To blaspheme against him is denying his call to you. When you become convicted by the Holy Ghost that you are lost and then dismiss it as nothing, and that there is no reason for you to come to God and accept the gift that he made to you and all of us by sending his Son (Jesus Christ) to die on the cross for our sins is a blasphemous act against the Holy Spirit of God because He is the one convicting you!
Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
If you die in your sins without accepting the Gift of God, if you constantly ignore the calling of the Spirit of grace, you have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit! You are going to a place prepared for the devil and his angels (Hell)! There to be forever separated from the Lord!
The Passages below tell us plainly how to escape hell, how not to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, and how to inherit eternal life.
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I may have missed this, above, but didn't Ananias and Saphria blasphem the Spirit by
deliberately lying about their gift?
In the NASB Life Application Study Bible, it doesn't, specifically, use the word, blaspheme or blasphemy, but I'm sure that's what it is.
I wouldn't reference the NASB my friend. Ananias and Saphira probably would be ones who committed the sin unto death since the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is reserved for the lost. Sin unto death would be for those who were saved.
