This can really be a challenge. There are a heap of Christian web sites on the net. It's easy to think the odds are against you to even get listed on search engines like Google and Yahoo. And if you do get listed, you get buried in the maze of hundreds of other sites similar to yours. Don't get discouraged though. These are the odds that everybody has to face on the net and just because they are difficult obstacles doesn't mean you can't overcome them. Have you never read what the Bible says about getting things done? Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Let's make the assumption you've already built a site that plainly tells everybody your intentions or conveys your thoughts. Maybe you've submitted your URL of that site to the search engines using one method or the other. That's a good start but most people just leave it there thinking they are about to get a flood of traffic. Problem is, even after a few weeks, there's no hits.

Here's the problem and a solution:

The volume of sites similar to yours is most likely huge! Your site is like a tiny drop of water being placed into a lake full of water. Once the drop hit's the surface of the lake (search engines), it's indistinguishable from the rest of the water. You have to make your site stand out. The way to do this is to author content in the form of articles and blog entries.

Articles can be simple to compose if they are about a subject you're interested in. Especially easy if the subject is something you have a passion over like your salvation or God's precepts. Write them and submit these everywhere you possibly can. And don't stop there. Make sure you post those same articles on your own site in your blog. A blog on your site is an important tool because it should contain all the articles you have written in one place under your URL. I have even placed links on my blog or article pages back to where my article is posted on ezine article sites. Backlinks are the greatest thing since sliced bread amd it never hurts to have some links. What's even more wonderful is that when your article starts migrating to other peoples pages if it interests enough readers. Then my friend, you have some much needed popularity links.
