There are many great benefits in promoting your Christian website using article directories. Many Christian web masters have traditionally submitted their websites to search engines and sometimes link directories. Although this is normally a good thing to do you can make a further impact in promoting your Christian website by using article submission.

There are two ways of doing this, writing your own articles, or employing someone to do it for you. Your object should always be to write, or have written, unique, high quality articles, for as many good article directories as possible. Although, this can be very time consuming it is worth it it the longer run as your website will gain more exposure, and you will have more visitors to your site, because of the traffic it generates. There are two types of article directories, general article directories, and niche article directories. If you are submitting to a general article directory ensure it has an appropriate category like Philosophy and Religion, and has a good number of back links to it or has some Google page rank. You can check the quality of the articles out by looking at the topics and reading some of the articles.

If you are choosing a niche Christian article directory there are now a few of these now appearing on the web, and have sub categories such as bibles, that enable a finer positioning of your topic or ministry. Christian articles is one such article directory, and although it is fairly new it is expected to grow further in the coming months.
